A Woodbury-built house for Walt and Velma Peterson
The architect designed oversized doorways for each of the pavilions. The sliding wood-and-glass doors,a s well as the soaring ceilings, are of clear heart redwood. The expansive openings allow the interiors and exteriors to flow together as easily as the waters from which the home takes its name. This complex building projects was handled by Mike Woodbury of Kona.
“We’ve worked together with Mike before, comments Walt. “He brings a lot of care and personal integrity to the project.”
